One original score with preface and special notations. Two copies of score, preface, and special notations. One published copy of "The Bird and the Donkey" in 'Pete Rose: The Bird and the Donkey for Solo Recorder,' 2006. Commissioned by Gunter Janoschka in 2002. "The Bird" gets its name from Mozart's opera 'The Magic Flute.' There is also a jazz solo in bebop style that pays tribute to Charlie Parker. "The Donkey" movement references a Greek folk song about a donkey. Improvisation is encouraged. Intended for soprano and alto recorders.
