Abstract of title and sale of 19 acres in Clear Creek County outside of Empire, Colorado. The land was left to Regis College by Margaret Guanella, one of the pioneers of Empire. The land was purchased for one dollar in 1926. This property would be known as "Camp Regis" for a number of years. Through the summers it hosted orphans and various student groups. The mining claim was first established in 1882 by Ralph Salmon and various other pioneers of the area including Ralph Salmon, John Dreit, and Peter Sprankle.
